SFERA International, as part of the project “Pro Dialogue,” organized a photo exhibition on the theme “Cultural characteristics of ethnic communities in Northern Macedonia.”

Purpose

‘Pro Dialogue’ aims to initiate social dialogue at a local or regional level among partner countries fighting against causes of hate speech and fake news. On the one hand, it will be based on verified information and facts, run more rationally than emotionally, and exclude abuse and insults.

On the other hand, it will unite the concerned and involved people and ensure that they don’t talk about each other. This will put the focus on topics aimed at everyday life and have a direct impact on living together in the local community.

Goals of the project

• Promoting the intercultural dialogue between the minority and majority.
• Sustainable reduction of prejudices.
• Raising awareness about other cultures, religions, and European values.

The exhibition had 10 photographers as participants from the whole of North Macedonia.

The exhibition was also to celebrate Europe Day on May 9.
