Today, June 5th, is the day to think about the future of Earth.
In 1972, at the Stockholm Conference on the Human Environment, the United Nations declared June 5 to be World Environment Day. World Environment Day is now an international initiative supported by communities, organisations, governments, and individuals everywhere. It encourages individuals, organizations and communities to take action towards a better planet by creating environmental initiatives, projects, awareness campaigns and regulatory changes.
Environmental protection is becoming increasingly important so let’s honour our one and only planet Earth on this special day while also remembering her every other day.
