We hosted our second multiplier event in Perloja, Lithuania, where participants learned about the project’s activities, achievements, and results. The event introduced practical resources developed to support adventure education, coaching, and personal development in youth work. After exploring the project’s outcomes, participants had the opportunity to embark on their own adventure through a kayaking activity. Combining knowledge-sharing with hands-on-experience, the event highlighted the value of experiential learning, teamwork, and stepping outside one’s comfort zone.

We presented and disseminated the project results during the international Study Visit “From Open Spaces to Policy Making” in Lithuania. The sessions brought together European multipliers, including NGO leaders, youth workers, and educational consultants, introducing them to the project’s approaches to adventure education, coaching, and youth development. A key highlight was the distribution of the FATE coaching cards “Mind Trails”, a practical tool designed to support coaching and self-development in youth work. By sharing the project’s results and resources, the session encouraged participants to explore how these tools and methodologies could be applied in their own professional contexts and communities.

The second transnational meeting of the FATE project brought project partners together in Vilnius to strengthen collaboration and further develop key project activities and tools. Over several days of discussions, planning, and creative exchange, the partners worked on improving educational resources, reviewing project progress, and shaping the next steps of the initiative.

As part of the FATE project, young people from three different towns came together for an adventure at Kukurūzų kaimas. They explored a corn maze, enjoyed outdoor activities, and discovered a mini zoo. The experience encouraged curiosity, active participation, and social connection between young people from different communities. By exploring new surroundings and sharing experiences, participants had the opportunity to build relationships, enjoy nature, and learn through adventure.

Mind Trails is a reflection and coaching tool developed within the FATE project to support meaningful conversations, self-exploration, and personal growth. Through guided questions and structured reflection activities, the tool helps young people identify goals, explore challenges, build confidence, and plan practical next steps in a supportive and engaging way.

The FATE International Adventure Activities in Perloja, Lithuania, brought together young people and youth workers from different countries for a week of outdoor challenges, teamwork, and intercultural exchange. Through adventure-based learning and meaningful shared experiences, participants strengthened their confidence, built new friendships, and explored personal growth, wellbeing, and future opportunities in education and employment.

The FATE project included peer-to-peer online sessions designed to strengthen young people’s communication, social, civic engagement, and language skills through international exchange and collaboration. These meetings covered various topics proposed by the participants — from holiday-themed conversations to discussions about the future — creating additional opportunities for young people to connect, share experiences, and learn from one another beyond the planned youth activities.

The FATE project also provided individual coaching sessions to support young people in their personal, educational, and professional development. Alongside group adventure activities, participants had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with youth workers to explore career opportunities, identify their strengths, prepare CVs, practice job interviews, and receive guidance tailored to their individual needs.

As part of the FATE project, young participants took part in a winter ice-skating activity that combined fun, teamwork, and personal growth. Through shared experiences and new challenges, the event encouraged confidence, resilience, and social connection while promoting learning through adventure and active participation.

Participants came together for a meaningful afternoon of volunteering and connection by spending time with shelter dogs. The activity encouraged teamwork, empathy, and community engagement while creating joyful moments for both the young people and the animals.

The FATE Skypark activity encouraged young people to step out of their comfort zones through movement, fun, and shared experiences in an energetic environment. Participants had the opportunity to build confidence, connect with others, and enjoy an uplifting day focused on wellbeing, motivation, and community.

The FATE Summer Picnic brought young people together for a relaxed afternoon of outdoor activities, meaningful conversations, and new connections. The event created a welcoming and supportive space where participants could socialize, enjoy games, and spend time together in a friendly atmosphere.

Inovatyvi karta/Innovative Generation was established in 2015 and is an organization that strives to empower people. Our work is based on non-formal education, cognitive behavioural coaching, arts, outdoor education, inclusion, equality and learning by experience. We aim to engage youth and adults while giving them the space to bloom.

As part of the FATE project, young participants took part in a collage-making workshop at a youth centre, exploring their needs, aspirations, and opportunities in their local environment. Through creative expression and reflection, they highlighted the lack of activities available to young people while expressing their desire to learn, explore and grow. The workshop emphasised the importance of accessible opportunities to empower young people to discover themselves, try new things, and broaden their horizons.

As part of the FATE project, young participants visited a water park, combining fun, physical activity, and shared experiences in an engaging environment. The outing encouraged social connection, helped strengthen relationships within the group, and provided an opportunity to step away from everyday routines. Through active participation and spending time together, young people experienced the value of shared adventures in supporting well-being and personal growth.

Young participants took on the challenge of an escape room, where they had to work together, solve puzzles, and think creatively to reach their goal. The activity encouraged communication, problem-solving, and teamwork while giving participants an opportunity to step out of their comfort zones, build confidence, and learn through shared adventure.
