Zero-waste workshop Post
May 16, 2018Youth exchange called “We Come As One” was conceived when young people from partner organizations during the conversation realized that very few young people from their community are aware that every human being has the right to protect their rights and that human rights violations are happening almost constantly in front of eyes of young people who are unable to detect this problem and somehow ignore it. Through the media, we are overwhelmed with news of a political, economic and refugee crisis, and human rights do not come to the fore.
Therefore, the stakeholders of this project wanted participants to provide basic knowledge of human rights, protection and prevention of discrimination and encourage them to become active citizens who would promote human rights and build a better society in their communities. One of the main goals of the European Union is to become a community where everyone will have equal opportunities and opportunities regardless of the diversity that Europe is rich and regardless of the country that is part of Europe. Therefore, the objective of the project is to awaken the awareness of young people about fundamental human rights and encourage them to engage in their communities in the field of protection and promotion of human rights and to spread the voice of how important it is.
